This plan provides you with a special hot pot lunch inside Kamakura (snow hut) and a 1-night private stay at a cabin in Nabekura Kogen Heights. After the lunch in Kamakura, you can enjoy yourself in a magnificent, broad snow field by playing with a sled, walking around the field or just simply dive into the snow.
*You can rent snowshoes and/or snow boots for free for 1 day!

Day 1 AM *For guests using public transportations: Please tranfer to Togari Onsen Bus Line. Take the 12:35 bus from IIyama Sta. and get off at "Shinanodaira" bus stop.
*For guests using your own car: Please arrive at the Kamkaura Village by 13:15.
13:15~14:45 Lunch inside Kamakura
Enjoy the special "Noroshi Nabe (Miso based hotpot)" inside a snow hut.
15:00 Moving from the Kamakura Village to the accommodation.
*For guests using public transportations: We will give you a ride to the destination. Please be in front of Kamkaura Shop (near the reception) by 15:00.
*For guests using your own car: Please go to Mori-no-Ie by yourself.
15:30 Arriving at Mori-no-Ie *You can check in from 14:00.

18:00 Dinner *Shabu-shabu menu with Nagano Shinshu Beaf
*Shabu-shabu is a type of Japanese hot pot that you have to cook by yourself (very simple). The staff member will guide you how to cook and enjoy.
*Please let us know if you have any speacial request concerning the meal.
After the Dinner Enjoy your stay at the cabin.

*For guests using public transportations: The staff member will take you to the JR Togari Nozawa Onsen Station. You can take the local train departing the station at 9:50 to Iiyama Sta.

What is included in the plan

Not included in the plan

■ Travel expenses to the Kamakura Village on Day 1 and from Mori-no-Ie on Day 2 (after checking-out) are not included. Please pay those fees by yourself at each spot.
■ A tour guide will not be accompanied.

Access

Access to the meeting point
■From Kanto area
Tokyo station (Hokuriku Shinkansen Hakutaka)→Iiyama Station (JR Iiyama Line)→Transfer to the bus "Togari Onsen Line" and get off at "Shinanodaira" bus stop.

Matters to keep in mind

■ About the fee
The minimum number of participants is 2 adults. In the event that one adult and one Elementary Schooler or Pre-schooler participate in the tour, the fee for two adults will be charged. Reservations for one person are not accepted.

Pre-Schooler fee is accepted only when each preschooler is accompanied by an adult. For example, if there are 3 preschool children for 2 adults, 1 preschool child will be charged as an Elementary Schooler.

For Pre-Schoolers, the following applies.
∟ Any age child who wish to use his/her own meals, bedding, and experiences will be charged the Elementary schooler fee.
∟ 3 years old and older: 2,500 yen (tax included) for no own-bedding and no meals.
∟ Under 3 years old without his/her own bedding and meals: 500 yen will be charged as a travel insurance fee.

■ About the hot pot in Kamakura
The hot pot uses pork, bonito based miso soup, vegetables such as carrot and potato for its ingredients.

If you have any allergies or religious restrictions, please let us know at the time of your reservation.

■ About the rentals at Mori-no-Ie
You can rent snowshoes and/or snow boots at Mori-no-Ie. Because of the limited number of rental items available in each size, there is a possibility that we may not be able to lend your requested size. If you wish to rent an item, we recommend that you contact us in advance to confirm the size and availability of the rental item.

*The size of snow boots you can rent : Minimum 18.5cm to Maximum 29.5cm.

■Regarding Dinner at the accommodation

Dinner Shabu-shabu Ingredients List
-------------------
Shabu-shabu includes meat (beef or pork), vegetables, kelp for soup stock, and two kinds of dipping sauces (sesame and ponzu).
Please enjoy it in an earthenware pot and a cassette stove (with a gas cylinder) in the cottage.

Meat: Each person will be provided with 150g each of "Shinshu Premium Beef" marbled meat and "Miyuki Pork", a rare local Iiyama brand pork, for a total of 300g.
Please enjoy the tender, juicy and delicious meat from Shinshu.
 
Vegetables: We will prepare 3-4 kinds of vegetables produced in Nagano prefecture. Please cut them by yourself using the cooking utensils provided in the cottage. It is fun to prepare them with your family and friends!

Rice: We will prepare one cup of local Iiyama rice per person. Iiyama rice is first-class rice that has won numerous gold medals at rice taste contests. Please enjoy the delicious rice freshly cooked in the rice cooker provided in your cottage.

*About the provision of foodstuffs
Meat will be provided in packs.
Vegetables will be served as is without preparation.
