Q How can I contact Iiyama Tabi-Tabi?

You can contact us through the “Other Requests” section of the Reservation Application Form, or via email info@iiyama-ouendan.net
. (Responses may take up to 5 business days). Please take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), and don’t hesitate to contact us if you can’t find an answer to your query.

Q How do I reserve a tour?
A

Reservations can be made via the Reservation Application Form on each individual tour plan page. Applications close 10 days prior to the tour date, so please email us if you have any enquiries about tours that are happening soon.

Q What is the process from reservation to the day of the tour?
A

Submit a Reservation Application Form

After confirming the tour plan and accommodation facilities, we will send you an email asking you to confirm your reservation request.

Respond to the reservation request confirmation email within 5 days.

Once we receive your response, we will send you your reservation confirmation, payment information and tour itinerary.

Pay for your tour by the due date (Please note that reservations will only be complete after payment)

Enjoy your tour!

Q Can I change what I cannot eat? (Religion or allergy)
A

All plans can be removed or changed. (pork to chicken, bouillon to consommé, etc.)
Please inform us at the time of application.

Q I am a vegetarian. Can I make my meal a vegetable?
A

Meat can be removed or changed in all plans.
Please indicate at the time of application which type of vegetarianism you prefer. We will be happy to accommodate your request. (e.g. dairy products are OK, eggs are not OK, etc.)

Q Can I drive to Iiyama in winter?
A

First-time visitors are also welcome to come by car.
However, January and February are the months when there is a lot of snow and the roads are icy in the morning and evening. (All-season tires are not allowed because of the studless tires regulation.)

【Tire Chains】
2WD: If you are going to the mountains, you will need to carry tire chains.
4WD: You do not need to bring chains.
(There is a slight slope after exiting the Toyota Iiyama Interchange, but other than that, the area from the city center to the Togari area is mostly flat.)

If you are going to the mountain areas other than downtown Iiyama, such as the Snow Monkey Park in Jigokudani Yaen-koen or the spotted mountain ski area, it is often difficult to drive with 2WD only.

If you are renting a car or other vehicle, please let us know that you are heading to Iiyama City (or other destinations) and ask about equipment such as tires and chains.

Q I live overseas. Can I make a reservation?
A

You can apply online from any country. (However, please note that the tour will meet and disband locally, so you will be responsible for making your own arrangements to get to the meeting point.)
Please choose credit card as your payment method.

Q I have not heard from you for 5 days after booking….
A

Please check the following possibilities.

1. If our address has been automatically sorted into the junk mail folder

2. If there is no e-mail in your spam folder and you have not received an e-mail titled “Notification of Iiyama Tabi Tabi Booking Request <○-□□□□-××××>“.
The e-mail address on your application is often incorrect. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we would appreciate it if you could contact us by phone. (Shinshu Iiyama Tourism Bureau TEL 0269-62-3133 weekdays 8:30-17:15)

Q How do I make a payment?
A

We only accept credit card payments by Visa and MasterCard for customers residing overseas.
We do not accept credit cards other than those listed above.

After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with the title “Confirmation sheet for Accommodation plan” and the URL for payment from “PG Multi-payment” at the same time or within one hour after the reservation is confirmed.
* Please be careful of automatic sorting into junk mail.

Q I want to be placed on a waiting list.
A

We do not accept waiting lists.
Whenever there is a change in the availability of a reservation, it will be reflected on the page of each plan. Please check there.

Q What tour options are available?
A

There are a variety of seasonal options.
We can offer skiing, overnight stays, canoeing on the Chikuma River, renting gear, and many other options depending on your needs.
Please fill in the box marked “Other requests, etc. (free description)” when you apply.

Q I would like to know about sightseeing information around Iiyama City.
A
